Scientist by day, artist by night... 

 

But sometimes my science gets a little artsy, and vice versa.

 

My career as a materials microscopist, closely examining the structure of the microverse, informs my artistic sensibilities.  Crystal habits, molecular symmetry, particle morphologies – the things I look at every day are reflected in my designs.  

 

Over the years, I’ve taken master classes in polymer clay design and precious metal work with some of the finest artists and teachers around, learning to incorporate various techniques from both disciplines in my pieces.

 

The result, painstakingly handcrafted artifacts which showcase that space where art meets science.
